The Christian:
I already feel like a broken record, as the entire human body can be seen as a testament to the ingenuity of an intelligent, loving Creator, but... Well, you can also see this in the human hands. Things we take for granted every day, like opposed thumbs, are biological engineering genius. Children can exemplify this when you tell them to notice that their left and right palms' wrinkles mirror each other perfectly. There's an endless number of things to do with our hands, and, I would hope, most of those actions are part of the life plan that God has for each of us.
The Artist:
I hate hands.
The Man:
As usual, I'm referring to women here... Your partner's hands, especially for shy couples, can end up as some sort of "holy grail" in the relationship. Some couples, or one of the pair, are absolutely petrified to hold hands in public. The irony of this is that a lot of those couples will do things that make married, "have-children" others blush--in private. Really, though, the hands are the real focus of a relationship. Seriously, except for those "floating kisses" where the man and woman lean in towards each other, and don't touch at all, most romantic interactions involve the hands in some way (don't think into that). Without hands, romance would be dull and lack the physicality that makes up half the equation (the other being, of course, the mental aspects--frequently ignored, unfortunately). So I guess we should all get out there and get some hands-on time? Oh man, that one hurt.
